SMIC Establishes Regional Headquarters of Multinational Companies in Shanghai

    On February 9, SMIC International Integrated Circuit Manufacturing Co., Ltd. ("SMIC", New York Stock Exchange: SMI, Hong Kong Stock Exchange: 981), the largest and most technologically advanced integrated circuit in Mainland China The foundry company announced the investment of SMIC International Holdings Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "SMIC Holdings"). SMIC has been recognized by the Shanghai Municipal Government as the regional headquarters of a multinational company, and will assume the management function of SMIC's mainland regional headquarters.
